Description

This project explored how to redefine kitchen and cooking experiences for Millennials and Gen Z through user research-based design. The Mobile Refrigerator, in particular, was designed to respond to the growing user experiences on the hyper-connected digital service, enabling working parents to receive freshly delivered ingredients and cook with ease. This solution highlights how user-centered research can transform fragmented kitchen experiences into seamless, meaningful interactions.

Over the course of three months, we conducted in-depth field studies with four user types and observed their cooking behaviors. From these insights, we mapped a nine-stage user journey of the cooking experience and identified pain points in preparing fresh ingredients due to work commitments. Based on this research, I proposed two product concepts: a Mobile Refrigerator and a Smart Trolley.
